Sandrine Ziegler was born the 25th of September 1970. Since then, she has been making objects, imagining, creating. As a natural born designer, she loves interior decoration and fashion.
She created her own company in 1996 and got specialized as a shop window dresser. The making of sets made her discover new materials such as a new resin. She wove it by superposing its threads until she created a new material: the supple woven resin.
Mérésine was born…
She presented on the “Maison et Objets“ exhibition in Paris in September 1997 her first collection of supple woven resin lamps and handbags. Some of her products such as the princess lamps, the ostrich lamps or “Marcel“ the English bulldog would become classics in interior decoration.
The spirit of her collection has always been cheerful and very feminine. We can find references to love, to children, but also hearts, good fairies, sequins and feathers …
Today, the collection enlarges itself around new technologies such as digital printing on lampshades or on cushions.
Moreover, Sandrine Ziegler develops more and more her jewellery collection with her famous coloured medals or fabric addings in her golden or silver chains.
Today, Mérésine displays its collection six times a year and among them four times in the field of fashion accessories.
Maison et Objets (Paris) in January and September Première Classe (Paris) in January and September Première Classe designers (Paris) in March and October.
All the collection is to be discovered on the website www.meresine.com
