Born from the imagination of Sandrine Ziegler, Mérésine ® was created 13 years ago. It's name, is taken from fairy tales and remind the material which has composed her first creations.
Keen on design and fashion, Sandrine Ziegler has always created. With the passing time, discoveries and meetings, her work has changed but always follows an elegent, contemporary and fun loving woman guideline.

| | 1997 - Her work of designer window dresser makes her discover the
supple woven resin that she weaves, molds and stretches to give it
shape. The lampshade "Princess" and "Marcel the bulldog " saw the
light on September 1997 in "Interior scenes" quarter's of the
exhibition "Maison et Objet" and became classics objects of decoration.
1999
- Sandrine Ziegler introduced the resin in her collection, and
developed an art line of table, including the famous sugar bowl that
made a world tour, and used in the most famous restaurants.
2002 - During a visit to Lourdes, this religious art collector bought
medals of the Virgin. A collaboration with the supplier enables her to
develop fun and unusual colors. Miraculous jewels became her best
sellers and medals of the range "Love" came quickly extending her
collection. Each jewel is sold in a plexiglass tube and the 18 colors
available make it a funny and original jewel, which success has never
been denied.
2003 – Keen on photography and digital
printing technologies , Sandrine Ziegler developed a huge range of
printing lampshades and became one of the pioneers of this technic. Collections linked together and allowed the development of accessories and decorations printed.
2006
- The birth of her first child, Paul, revealed a lack of clothes in the
baby boys wardrobe, thereby she created a clothing line for children.
Manufactured exclusively in France, with a contemporary style, with
refined and funny patterns, original colors, combined with practice and
comfortable cutting out. The collection won an immediate success.
2007
- Mérésine celebrated its 10th birthday. This birthday marks the
occasion for its coming to a new area of "Maison & Objet" show in
Hall 6, "fashion accessories". A bigger booth, with all the Mérésine ranges unabled her to show all its know-how.
2008
– Fleur, Sandrine Ziegler’s daughter was born and inspired her mother.
She created new lines of baby items, including dresses, small and
delicate tops. The collection included models specially designed
around the babies caracteristics and totally new compared to the
classical babywear.
2009 – Mérésine exhibited for the first
time, on the show "Eclat de mode - Bijorhca", a collection of precious
jewels in silver, silver gilt and gold. The medals are engraved of
poetry, with small hearts combined with cords, chains or semi-precious
stones, in a light and contemporary style.
